Classroom Change Request Policy

When we create our classes during the summer, we rely on an estimate from the District as to how many students at each grade level to expect.  Since this is only an estimate, our actual enrollment can be very different.  For that reason, if necessary, we may need to reorganize classes with low student enrollment and create new classes to ease possible over-crowding.  Each school goes through the same process, which is called Norm Day, and occurs in September.  For this reason, I will not make class changes until this time, as I do not want to interrupt your child's first month of school with multiple classroom changes.  Please understand that while I will consider your room change request if is is submitted in writing, not all requests/changes may be possible.
